I give advice and support you to conceptualize your web project. I design the interface and all visual elements of the website and implement them with accessible HTML and CSS using web standards.

Philosophy

When designing a webpage, I focus primarily on simplicity and usability. A good design is appealing, but gets out of the way so it doesn't interfere with the tasks the user wants to accomplish.

How I work

I can handle smaller to mid sized projects autonomously, for bigger projects I will enjoy working together with your existing team. I have gained experience with many different ways to work on a project, ranging from rather traditional to modern, agile approaches. For non web related parts of a project like print, copy writing or photography, I have partners who can help me out if neccessary.

Technologies

Depending on the kind and size of a project, I prefer one of the following technologies:

WordPress – for smaller websites or weblogs
Drupal – for mid sized websites
Ruby on Rails – for web applications and custom solutions
